Visited Sidz cottage on 22nd Oct 2014 with my family and it was a truly fantabulous stay. We spent 3 Nights in bungalow and honestly Sidz cottage is a very homely place to stay in with natural environment. Rooms are really beautiful, clean and spacious with very good interior. Entire property is surrounded by greenery & plantations which is very well maintained by the team. The care-taker Mr. Sanket Sawant is a gem of entire team and is very Courteous, Soft Spoken & Cooperative. We have never experienced such kind of Hospitality and Discipline which is beyond anyone’s imagination. The entire staffs are very polite & will help you with anything that you need. It was our privilege to meet the owner Mr. Sushil Jadhav & his wife on our entire stay, who were totally involved in the daily operations at the resort & would be eager to help if needed, which is really appreciated. Overall its been one of our best holiday experiences out of the many we have done. Definitely recommended for people who like quiet place with nature to enjoy with.
Visited Sidz Cottage on May 2015 with Friends and family. Like the interior of room in which we stayed. Specially love the garden which has so many variety of plants. Thanks for the Turmeric plant. Good hospitality. Must visit to refresh and rejuvenate.
We just came back from trip of Alibaug this weekend with family of 18 people and our stay was at Sidz Cottage..... It was mindblowing... Awesome and superbbb.... Fully into Nature with Sugarcane to Guava and lots of beautiful flowers.....

Stayed January 2017, travelled with family
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sidz Cottage. Very well maintained property, great food and excellent staff. We loved the place so much we wanted to stay for another day. Rooms are nice and clean, ambience was excellent. You can have best time with your family and friends.
Sidz cottage is one of the hidden pearls of Alibaug. The property is very finely made and the owner has not overcrowded it with buildings , he has given the property more open spaces and open sitting decks with vegetation all around.
The care taker was very accomadative and warm , we were 3 families and had 2 kids . We had all our meals there and it was really good. We had booked 3 villas, they are modernly crafted.
There is a hidden beach 500 m from the property and the main beach is 2 km from there. The property has ample parking space and also has pool table,foosball,carem,TT.

If you are looking for a place that has simplicity built in yet well located, then Sidz is your destination. Located on the alibaug-revdanda highway, it has different kinds of rooming arrangements suited to your needs. We stayed at the village category of rooms which offer a rustic feeling, coupled with the sit out area which allows you to relax the way you wish to. Coupled with that was the food which will tickle your taste buds be it veg or non veg. Not just the taste, but the spread is well thought of and has a dish for all kind of foodies. The staff is considerate and responds with alactrity to your needs. If you have kids/toddlers with you, you can rest assured you will pretty much get what you want. Of special mention is the chicken malwani and fried surmai. A stone's throw away are the nagaon and akshi beaches which are pristine and clean. And of course other famous beaches like kashid, kihim, etc are all within an hours' driving distance.
Stayed August 2016, travelled as a couple
We visited Sidz 1 year back.... Left Mumbai at around 5 p.m. and reached sidz by 8.30 pm. It was a warm welcome with all the glowing lights inside the campus of sidz. Mr sanket atteded us. He is a gem of a person that Sidz have. We booked Sidz Villa for 2 days. Glass Windows add a magic to its awesome look. Sidz maintain the privacy. They always call people for placing order for lunch/ dinner/ brakfast / tea. They never come and disturb you. That's the best feature of this cottage. Overall superb experience.
Me and my three friends visited Naygaon Beach Near Alibag on 13th February ,2016. We were searching for a good , safe and luxurious place to stay. Then we found Sid cottages . This place is amazing with all the luxurious facilities of a five start hotel. The prices are on the higher side but compared to the amenities and the service I found it worth. We stayed there for around two days. The staff service , food , and the rooms are really nice. They have given ample space to roam around . I would recommend this place for the others also .
For tourists who would like to spend a quiet vacation in alibag near mumbai this is an ideal place. I liked the homely atmosphere. Feels nicecand secure. Good food. Has a small library. And the beach is nearby.
I was here with 3 of my best girlfriends and we were looking forward to a relaxing trip away from the routine. We succeeded in enjoying one! Easy to locate once you enter Alibaug.
Talking about the staff:
The staff here is warm and welcoming, always ready for any kind of service for the guests. Someone will always be around to provide the stuff that you need.
Rooms and property:
The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, feels of a home bedroom. Bathrooms are clean and big. They had placed a jar with toothbrushes and a paste which was something that I appreciated. We stayed in the cottage named 'Village' and I recommend it to all. 4 of us easily managed in one room. The gardens and plantations around the premises are wonderful and you feel perfectly relaxed in monsoon.
Food:
The food was good, specially Idli Chutney from the breakfast menu. The package includes one time veg buffet which is quite nice. You need to inform them in advance if you want to have non-veg menu. We ordered fried chicken and prawns for dinner and were happy that we did!
Area around:
Nagaon beach is close by but not recommended if you're looking for a clean and peaceful environment. Markets and close by and you can just buy your stuff around easily.
Stayed July 2016, travelled with friends
Went to the property with school friends for couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed my two days. This property is located opposite Nagaon High School around 12 to 15 kms from Alibag on the Alibag - Revdanda Road. it has beautifully built cottages and small villas and the best part is all the sit-outs that they have made in the lawn. The lawns are beautifully maintained and even though we are in mid forties we played like kids with our Frisbee. Enjoyed our lazy sunday morning in a Hammock. We had taken a small Barbecue with us and made some delicious barbecue the previous evening. The sit-outs have central audio systems and they play beautiful music over the system.

This was our second visit to Sidz Resort in last 3 months and the second experience ws even better than the first. Nested on the outskirts of a quiet village of Nagaon , about 6 kilometres from Alibaug, is this beautiful property well appointed with a Banglow , 3 large rooms called Village and 4 villas. The rest of the property which is about 2 acres , is full of 100 shades of green!
Under the watchful eye of Sushil and Shilpa Jadhav, the property boasts 100s of trees , flowering plants , bamboos and Palms. Staying at this resort happens to be a lovely experience.
Rooms are simple yet comfortable ; air-conditioned with zhulaas and hammocks in the front yard. The place provides 24 hours hot and cold water and has clean and comfortable self contained bath and toilets.
The food is homely yet tasty and a treat for both Veg and non veg lovers.
The Owners , Sushil & Shilpa are both nature lovers and play wonderful hosts.
All in all , Sidz is a must visit place to experience the nature's serenity and beauty just within 2 & half hours from the concrete jungles of Mumbai or Pune.
